Sadie & Andrew 11th July 2009 – The Albright Hussey

Sadie & Andrew 11th July 2009 – The Albright Hussey, Shrewsbury

Sadie and Andy only began booking their wedding back in March of this year but no one would have guessed, they got in touch with me about 6 weeks before the wedding and luckily I was still available and having photographed at The Albright Hussey so many times before was delighted when they decided to go ahead with the booking. I arrived at the Hussey at noon on the Saturday and unfortunately the dark clouds were looming, however with the help of Andy’s sister Janet, Sadie’s sister Rosemarie and also Sadie’s Mom we were able to keep her spirits up especially once the champagne was open. The rain managed to stay away right up until 10 minutes before the ceremony was due to begin making it look less likely that a beautiful service in the stunning gardens at the Hussey would happen but a bang on 2:00pm the cloud disappeared and the sun came out and thanks to a sterling job by Paul and his team the chair were wiped down and Paul’s 100% recorded for dry outside weddings stayed in tact. Once the service was over the bride and groom took their guests over to the Hussey to enjoy drinks and canapés, before the photography started. After a few formal family shots Sadie, Andy and I made our way to the fantastic fields surrounding the Hussey to take some wonderful Bride and Groom portraits. Andy was very sceptical at the thought of having a photographer for their big day, however he soon got into it and before I knew it he was loving every shot…. I think. The couple were then seated in the imperial suite at the Albright Hussey where they enjoyed a fantastic meal followed by a lively evening. Thanks for a great day guys I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
